CareCube is COVID-19 ready.

Aside from the real-time scheduling CareCube offers that is helping manage ever-changing session timings and individual scheduling of patients, the CareCube platform has recently evolved to assist centres with their COVID-19 patients, in line with PHE guidelines, supported by clinical advisors.

Given all patients need to be swabbed/self-isolate prior to coming to hospital, all checklists within CareCube now include two mandatory questions on check-in: whether they have had the COVID-19 swab, and whether they have been self-isolating prior to admission.

Additionally, we have developed a further "GA COVID-19 team brief", and associated workflows, to accommodate the extra steps and precautions needed in the time of COVID-19 – for example, intubation/extubation, who is in the lab, whether the 20 minute AGP is completed. These additions have all been created in line with PHE guidelines.
