1) Productivity goals and objectives have been agreed and communicated by senior clinicians in the labs, all of which can be monitored through CareCube’s front-end reports
2) A detailed review of capacity and demand has been undertaken in line with the existing ‘Activity Plans’ for 2022-2023 to understand key challenges and constraints on delivery
3) Increased presence and visibility of divisional management team in clinical areas has been achieved which will support the sought-after improvement in productivity
Management Operating System
1) Improved key planning processes through embedding 6-4-2 principles using CareCube’s calendar view and rota application with key stakeholders in the labs
2) Dynamic performance review implemented through applying CareCube’s data and reporting mechanisms which ensure evidence-based decision making when acting against persisting variances and under performance on KPIs
3) Daily, Weekly and Monthly tracking of output against the ‘Activity Plans’ is undertaken to ensure attainment of goals and understanding of issues preventing success
Further Opportunities
1) Resource allocation & session attainment monitoring through CareCube’s rota stats functionality which will help prevent lost capacity and resource
2) Non-elective capacity planning check and balance process review to be installed
3) Further embed on the day cancelation review processes to mitigate avoidable cancelations or deferrals of cases utilising CareCube front end reporting
